E1 Residential Building
The E1 building flanks the new piazza ant the new canal ditched in the south-east quadrant of the area. The front toward the piazza, resting on a long public portico, consists of a screen of stone slabs of different colours and textures topped by a prominent corniche which frames the view toward the Laguna. On the side toward the canal the upper floors are treated in white stucco and large sliding shutters, while tra brick base is pierced o by portals which increase its visual permeability.
