Regional Court and Attorney Building
The Regional Court and Attorney Building is located at one of the major roads of Radzyn Podlaski Stefan Wyszyński Street. Opposite there is the Church of St. Mary of Perpeual Help wth adjacent square and parking.
In the layout of the building there are two L-shaped wings featured: a soutwest and a southeast one, both of which have been interconnected with a main entrance hall and central communication core.
The architecture of the building is concordant with its rank and function. The main entrance from Wyszyński Street has been designed to form a big, retracted portal among which there is a row of pillars and a front staircase connecting entrance square level to the ground floor of the building.
There are no accents in the main facade its whole surface stays in harmonious relation with the street and the square. The simple side facades are a kind of a negative of the front one. This is to emphasize the importance of the main facade.
The main hall located on the groung floor between the two wings is vertically interconnected on all levels via openings shifted in position against each other. Two of the hall levels have untypical construction of the ceilings made of glued laminated timber.
The hall has direct access to different functional zones as well as to the vertical communication core.
Finishing materials form a calm natural pallet with a slightly severe expression, softened with whitewashed wood, which is In balance with the grey outer walls and surrounding natural greenery.
The light grey sidewalls of the building create a kind of a background for the precast concrete panels used in the main facade. The natural grey and sandy tone of the coloured architectural concrete panels give the facade a look of a large format stone cladding. 4900m2
