Tensile Structures over Public Space at Sofia Central Rail Way Station (dismantled)

The tensile structure designed by arch. Jeko Tilev is a part of the reconstruction of the Central Rail Station in Sofia by arch. Milan Dobrev. The technical project is made by the engineers Vatio Tanev and Dimitar Dakov. The structural project is made by Graboplan, Hungary, under the guidance of arch. Tamas Varga. The structure aims unifying the great variety of functions and elements of this environment into a whole public space consisting of two levels of commerce and a central monument.

The structure covers an area of 4500m2.
