Opinmäki School
Opinmäki comprises premises for comprehensive education, early education and care, public library and sports and youth services of the city of Espoo.
The comprehensive school for thousand pupils consists of nine grades from ages 7 to 15. Adult education and sports and culture events can be organized simultaneously with pre-primary and comprehensive education during and after school hours.
The building is composed of nine volumes each with varying size and function. Large volumes lend the building a distinct public character. Small volumes create a playful backdrop for the playground.
The building is made of brick and concrete. Technical installations are mostly exposed.
