Modern green business campus B12 in innovation park UNIT.City
Building B12 is one of a number of new office buildings built in an emerging innovation cluster Unit Campus in Kyiv. B12 campus complies with the green building standard of the American LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) system.
B12 business campus at UNIT.City has 6-storeys and a capacity to host more than 1,000 residents and about 20,000 visitors per month.
While the overall volume is unified in form, color and material, the corner of the building is deconstructed, creating a bright dominant accent. The breakaway volume of the building hovers above the building entrance, revealing the inner colorful and extraordinary life of the office behind the ordinary walls. This expressive building element is also located on the main pedestrian axis of the campus, drawing visitors and office workers to the main entrance of the building. The volume of the building is clad with a modular façade element, a unit that has created a monolithic confident corporate office look; While a colorful corner has added an artistic ‘wink’ to its architecture and the surrounding context.
The adjacent street environment has noticeably revitalized after the construction of this colorful object, acting almost like a work of art that can influence our feelings and emotions. This striking, distinctive entrance lobby became, as one would expect, the trademark of not only the building and the company itself, but of the entire campus.
B12 campus is a six-storey building in glass design, it also complies with the green building standard of the American LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) system. The engineering infrastructure of the campus is aimed at preserving energy, water, reducing CO2 emissions and improving the quality of the air indoors.
